Starting Off
I mean when you day starts with this view you know its going to be a good day.
Through the Autumn Tunnel
Where would today's adventure take me?
A Foliage Break
Once through the low but dense foliage, my path was made clear. I would continue through the canyon.
Path Wall
These red walls would usher me through the southeastward path.
The Canyon's Valley
Lets hope it doesn't rain.
The High Ceiling
No problem fitting the Christmas tree in this great hall.
Silent Valley
What did I hear when I first entered the valley floor? Nothing.
The Great Stretch
It was clear where I needed to go. Or was it...
The Sun's Limit
The sun was battling the tall canyon walls for domination over the valley floor.
Head South
Going south along the valley floor. I guess the only way to not get lost would be to not walk through the walls.
A Path!
This path would soon disappear and I'd be left to my own devices.
The Few
To the few who have ever walked this path. Our luck is eternal.
Path To Heaven
With every step, this park's name becomes ever so apparent.
No Man's Land
The National Park Service shares part of this tract of land with a farmer. Lucky SOB.
Follow the Tide
When the path disappeared, I need only follow the water.
Up Close
I wandered along the valley floor and wanted to make sure I could feel the canyon walls. They had a sort of mystic power about them.
Showing You're Age
Trees and stone older than any who walk this earth today.
Wild Cow
Oddly enough these cows had me more on my toes than any bear so far.
Through the Break
Occasionally I would walk through a grove of trees. Even with the view blocked for but a moment, I was never disappointed when there was a break in the tree line.
Back Out
...and back out of the grove.
No Rush
Literally and figuratively.
The Bend
It was not necessary to follow each bend. I suppose thats a good thing considering how dramatic some were.
The Color Scale
...I mean...amIright?
