From the Southeast
Following a drop off by Ms. Walker, I hopped back on the trail to complete the final leg of the Trans-Zion trail.
Sunny Highway
A gorgeous stretch of trail. I was still barely awake.
Over the Crest
Just a couple more steps and I'd be over the hill.
What Goes Up...
...must come down.
The Canyon of the East
A white canyon from the east side.
Flower Center
Not everything here is dead.
Fall's Flourish
Nothing dull about this season I tell ya!
Wayward Soul
Carrying on...
Pride of Zion
Not really but still its pretty.
My Mark
I wonder how many 10s of thousands of these I left across the U.S of A.
The Path Forward
Its not too treacherous...yet.
White Stone
Almost felt like I was walking through a marble quarry.
Through the Thicket
Thankfully no, I did not have to walk through this.
Westward
Towards the park's center.
Watching My Step
Again...no false moves please.
Just A Bit Outside
Thats where I'll stay. If I had a climbing buddy I'd try my luck out here.
From the East In
The approach towards Angel's Landing from the East.
Mesa Vista
No I'm not sure if mesa is the right term. Is it?
Drawn to Color
Like a moth to flame.
Distance and Scale
Nothing is close. It only appears that way.
Anyone Down There?
I think I may have heard or seen a group of canyoneers down yonder.
Marbled
Would I make a kitchen counter out of this? Yes.
Stand Tall
Above the canyon, this tree knows no equal.
The Descent Again
Once again, my trail takes me from the plateaus of Zion to its canyon depths.
