It seemed like every branch in the Redwood forest was covered in a soft blanket of moss.

Many of the trunks were also covered in the aforementioned moss.

It took me minutes to walk from one end to the other of this downed Redwood Tree.

How many generations of hikers have these trees amazed?
Crossed Canopy
Not your run of the mill forest canopy. A true masterpiece of interwoven branches.

Every branch in a mad dash to catch the best sunny spot.
Tree Gang
Not all trees are loners. Some of these Redwoods stick together and grow as a team.

Hard to see the forest through the trees. Now I finally get the meaning of that phrase.

Just a wee laddie now, this Redwood will surely grow to dominate the forest and onlookers disbelief.

Impossible to not feel some connection to the heavens walking among these giants.
