Toes In The Dirt
Sandals off and the living is easy
Into the Woods
Into the Redwood forest en route to the Fern Canyon. What will I find?
A spider monkey's paradise! I felt like I was walking through a land long forgotten.
There is no justice in any picture taken of a Redwood tree. Seeing it in person is the only way.
The intertwining masterpiece that is the Redwood Forest. Enchanting,
Thick and Strong
Shreds of bark as big as my quads.
...are hard reached by the frost.
It seemed like every branch in the Redwood forest was covered in a soft blanket of moss.
Many of the trunks were also covered in the aforementioned moss.
It took me minutes to walk from one end to the other of this downed Redwood Tree.
How many generations of hikers have these trees amazed?
Not your run of the mill forest canopy. A true masterpiece of interwoven branches.
Twisted Tree Tops
Every branch in a mad dash to catch the best sunny spot.
Not all trees are loners. Some of these Redwoods stick together and grow as a team.
The Chosen One
Ok maybe its not the chosen one but it sure seemed like it by the way the sun captured it.
