On the Horizon
The layers of the horizon are so pronounced
Climber's Bane
I'm not even sure where I would begin climbing that sucker!
Sun's Painting
The sun has a way of illuminating the landscape
The Route
This is the route I will take tomorrow...
Two Routes
This drainage separates the two paths I could have chosen from to get to the top of Igloo Mountain
Extra Exploring
I had all day to explore the area. Here I followed some Dall Sheep for a better view.
Meet Sarah
I was shocked to see another person on Igloo Mountain. Sarah decided to pop up the mountain for the views. I think she was just as surprised to see me.
Life Reimagined
Here I am sitting and looking out into the vastness of Denali National Park. It was while I was sitting here when I realized what I was doing. I was on the adventure of 1000 lifetimes. From this moment on my life was redefined.
Sarah's Perspective
Just to give you a sense of scale this is Sarah walking down Igloo Mountain
King's View
Everything the light touches is my kingdom
"Vast"
Denali knows no bounds
Front Porch View
Not a bad view to wake up to in the wild. Or for anywhere
Curb Appeal
It was a bit windy up here but the view would have been worth sleeping through a tornado
Drainage Land
Not the most appealing description but I'll let the view do the talking
22 Square Feet
A rare look at the inside of my empty tent
Straddled Home
My home rest atop a saddle on Igloo Mountain. Plenty of exploring to be done around here
Endless
When one later of mountains ends, another begins
Dall Sheep
Not sure if I'm spelling it right but I was in the company of 3 Dall Sheep
Ghost Sheep
My presence was far from overlooked
Mid-Day Snack
It didn't matter that I was there. Nothing got in the way of a meal.
Speechless
No Comment...
Contrast
Grass or snow, the terrain of Denali knows no equal
Craggy Peak
As strong as the mountains are, parts look like they are ready to crumble
Rest Stop
Sometimes I would explore the top of the mountain and just rest from time to time. Soak in the sights
