Open Road
Bryce Canyon Bound
Mountain Approach
From stretches of endless desert, massive rock appears.
The Final Approach
It took a while but this range finally got up close and personal.
Dirty Inside and Out
Nobody's perfect.
Bryce's Canyon
Show me any other place where you can see this type of landscape.
Hoodoo Morning
An early morning with the canyon's famed Hoodoos
Vast Hoodoo
Can you imagine stumbling upon this landscape by accident?
Drip Castles
Don't these sort of look like giant, hardened drip castles?
Layered Landscape
I really struggled with picking what depth to focus on.
Hoodoo Hammers
Thor's Hammer isn't the only one to pick from.
Fortress Walls
In the front you can see what I believe is Thor's Hammer. Beyond that..the walls of Bryce Canyon.
Bryce Binoculars
A viewing window for a giant.
The Underexposed Hammer
Clouds covered the greatness of Thor's weapon.
Rippled Effect
The geology is so defined that it appears like little towers crammed together.
Hardened Life
Even among these rock walls one finds life.
Deep Within
Nestled deep within Bryce's odd canyon.
Bark and Stone
The bark of these trees somewhat mimicked the canyon's orange and jagged walls.
The Double Bridge
Not sure I'd feel to comfortable walking across them but its one way to cross over.
Covered
The trees provided an inner layer of protection from the sun beyond what the walls provided.
Kingdom's Tower
Sure size matters here in Bryce's Canyon.
Bumpy Stone
Some stones are smooth but you'd be hard pressed to find one in Brcye Canyon.
Forest Courtyard
This forest was kind of in the middle of the lower level of the canyon. Almost like a courtyard.
Up and Down
The landscape had its high points and its fallen points.
Moonscape
Not even noon and the moon was strangely present in the mid-day sky.
